Job Description
Description We are looking for an Entry Level Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing team. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a fast-moving business environment. The ideal candidate brings a solid academic foundation in accounting or finance, along with experience handling core transactional accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices and assist with timely accounts payable activities while maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
- Prepare customer billing records and help monitor accounts receivable balances to support consistent cash flow tracking.
- Record journal entries and update accounting data to keep financial information complete and current.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure transactions are properly reflected in company records.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis and resolve outstanding variances with appropriate follow-up.
- Assist with month-end accounting activities by organizing records, reviewing transactions, and supporting financial close procedures.
- Communicate with internal team members and external contacts to clarify payment issues, account questions, and documentation needs. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Around 1 to 2 years of internship experience in an accounting or finance-focused role.
- Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and journal entry preparation.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify issues and support practical resolutions.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- Careful attention to accuracy and organization when handling financial records and transactions.
- Ability to manage priorities effectively in a deadline-driven, fast-paced setting.
