Job Description
Our well know client is looking for a Senior Accountant, this role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial results through ownership of revenue accounting, billing execution, cost analysis, and accounts receivable oversight. The Senior Accountant partners cross functionally to provide reliability behind. A strong understanding of revenue recognition is essential. Core Responsibilities Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entry preparation, account analysis, and reconciliation Support the preparation of financial reporting packages and management dashboards Perform variance and trend analysis to explain revenue and cost fluctuations Execute revenue recognition activities in alignment with applicable accounting guidance, including ASC 606 Maintain detailed revenue schedules and manages journal entries Track, analyze, and account for cost of service, including third-party and operational costs Prepare monthly cost accruals Partner with operational teams to investigate cost variances and trends Manage billing activities from setup through invoice issuance Monitor accounts receivable aging Prepare and maintain monthly reporting and dashboards Perform reconciliations and ensure proper documentation and controls Provide insight into revenue trends, pricing performance, and service cost efficiency Collaborate with Operations, FP&A, and Strategic Account teams on financial analysis and cost management Support internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries
