$85,000 - $110,000 per year Job Details - Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced Accounting and Finance team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a significant impact on our organization. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the financial implications of business decisions.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and analyze financial reports and ensure accuracy in accordance with GAAP. 2. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals. 3. Implement and maintain ERP systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting. 4. Participate in financial audits and liaise with external auditors as needed. 5. Develop and implement internal control policies to safeguard company assets. 6. Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes. 7. Provide support to the finance team in the areas of financial analysis and forecasting. 8. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. 4. Strong knowledge of GAAP, accrual-based accounting, and financial consolidations. 5. Proven experience in managing AP and AR functions. 6. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail. 7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 9. High degree of professionalism and integrity. 10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
