Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee vendor invoice processing and coordinate timely disbursements with appropriate internal contacts.
- Record incoming payments, apply cash receipts accurately, and maintain current accounts receivable records.
- Review corporate card activity each month and prepare the necessary entries to reflect expenses correctly.
- Process full cycle accounts payable vendor invoices
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and contribute to cash tracking and short-term cash reporting.
- Administer billing activities for several consulting practice groups, including preparing draft invoices for review.
- Work with practice leaders and other stakeholders to incorporate billing updates and resolve invoice revisions efficiently.
- Monitor pending billing approvals and follow up to keep invoicing on schedule.
- Issue finalized client invoices for monthly review and support accurate financial reporting across multiple entities. - At least 2 years of accounting experience in a staff accountant, accounting clerk, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and comfort learning or using billing platforms such as Aderant.
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail in financial recordkeeping.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring monthly deadlines.
- Solid understanding of reconciliations, journal entries, and basic month-end accounting processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
