Description Job Summary:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and assisting with month-end close and reconciliations. This role works closely with the accounting team to maintain financial records and ensure compliance with company policies. The schedule for this position will be Tuesday through Thursday each week.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Maintain and update general ledger records Support financial reporting and analysis Assist with audits by providing documentation and schedules Ensure compliance with accounting policies and proceduresQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred 2+ years of accounting experience Basic knowledge of GAAP Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsBenefits:
