$82,950.40 to $128,564.80 annually Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant for a full-time permanent opportunity in Dover, Delaware.Position Highlights:

Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate insurance accounts receivable operations
- Supervise billing, collections, account follow-up, and reimbursement activities
- Monitor AR performance and implement process improvements
- Lead and mentor team members through coaching, training, and performance management
- Collaborate with physician practices, revenue cycle leadership, and operational departments
- Analyze reports, identify denial trends, and improve reimbursement performance
- Ensure compliance with government and commercial payer regulations
- Utilize Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) systems to support revenue cycle operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
- Minimum of 5 years of patient accounting, third-party reimbursement, or revenue cycle experience
- At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and denial management
- Experience with Epic HB/PB preferred
