Part-Time Bookeeper/Accountant

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper/Accountant to join the Jack Lingo Realtor accounting team! This role offers a more flexible schedule to assist existing accountants with accurate record-keeping. As a key contributor, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, from recording checks and deposits to paying vendors of our vacation property accounts. Hours worked will be greater during the summer months as our vacation rentals are very active during this period. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Barefoot. Help make bank deposits to our local bank. Record all weekly invoices of cleaner bills into our property software. Handle accounts payable of vacation vendor bills each week. Assist tax filings to local municipalities from vacation rental software. Record and process insurance check refunds received from outside insurance companies into our vacation rental software. Assist with all year-end 1099 preparation for all vacation property owners, vendors and sales and rental agents. Back-up existing accounting employees during vacations or days off. Qualifications Bachelors' or Associate degree in accounting Minimum of 5 years of accounting expereince Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay:

$22.50 per hour
