Job DescriptionJob Description Boca Raton, Florida Property Developer is seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant for their multi development projects. The Corporate Accountant oversees the corporate banking, credit and investment functions of the organization including, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements so as to fulfill the organization's goals. Real Estate Experience a plus. The Corporate Accountant must have the following skills and

Experience:

 Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance  Minimum 2-3 years recent experience working in a Corporate setting  Knowledge of banking systems and processing wires. Familiarity with Foreign transactions desired  Knowledge of accounting systems (Sage, Timberline, Timberscan, HFM.  The applicant must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.  Well organized and reliable. The Corporate Accountant will perform the following duties:  Assume responsibility for cash management and liquidity.  Analyzing loan agreements, keeping track of corporate debt and interest rate calculations.  Work with external banks and internal legal administrator to setup new bank accounts.  Processing wire payments and internal transfers.  Cutting/printing checks upon request using accounting system.  Keeping track of publicly traded stock portfolio/initiating transfers between account as needed.  Dealing with foreign currency accounts and converting to USD for financial reporting.  Assist on company quarterly close of corporate books.  Prepare supporting schedules for quarterly financial statements.  Timberscan admin/setup duties.  HFM uploads and roll forwards during quarterly consolidation.  Entering bi-weekly payroll.  Supervising corporate AP department  Reconciliation of intercompany accounts.  Ad-hoc support and reporting to VP of Corporate Accounting and CFO Our client offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package Company DescriptionBest Headhunters is a team-oriented search firm who provides a unique, hands-on caring approach in helping a candidate match their experience with the right job opportunity.
