Job Description
Seeking a Tax Accountant to support a small accounting team in delivering high-quality financial and tax services. This role offers the opportunity to work across personal and corporate tax preparation, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting. Responsibilities Prepare and file personal and corporate tax returns. Assist clients with tax planning, preparation, and filing. Perform monthly bookkeeping and accounting functions, including preparation of financial statements. Conduct account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations. Ensure accuracy of financial data and reporting. Manage payroll processing and sales tax reporting. Requirements 5+ years of tax and accounting experience. Strong knowledge of tax laws, tax preparation software, and estate planning procedures. Experience with QuickBooks. Ability to interpret financial statements and perform reconciliations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. CPA or EA certification preferred.
