The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and month-end close activities while working closely with leadership. Key Responsibilities of the
Senior Accountant:
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the month-end and year-end close Ensure financial statements are prepared accurately and in compliance with GAAP Manage revenue recognition activities and assist in preparing financial reports for internal use Review and code credit card transactions for proper general ledger classification Oversee and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements to ensure compliance with company policies Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure internal controls are followed Support external audit efforts by preparing required documentation and schedules Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and operational improvements Partner with the Controller on special projects and help streamline accounting processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required 3–5 years coming directly out of public accounting Solid understanding of GAAP and financial close processes Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills Must be comfortable with light travel #
