Job Description
Responsibilities:
Prepare federal, state, county, and local income tax returns for businesses and individuals Prepare tax workpapers accurately and efficiently Record accounting transactions and prepare trial balances Prepare financial statements Perform tax research and apply relevant tax laws and regulations Maintain knowledge of applicable IRS rules and regulations Apply accounting and bookkeeping principles to client accounts Maintain accurate time and client records Meet established chargeable-hour and productivity goals Communicate professionally with clients and members of the firmQualifications:
CPA license preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field Minimum 3 to 5 years of tax preparation and accounting experience Experience preparing individual and business tax returns Knowledge of Lacerte tax preparation software preferred Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, Online and Enterprise Strong Microsoft Office skills Comfortable learning and working with accounting technology Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desire to grow professionally within the firmBenefits:
