Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Delray Beach, Florida. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow your accounting career in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to support financial reporting.
• Assist in preparing corporate tax returns and sales tax filings.
• Manage and analyze financial data using NetSuite software.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion.
• Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and implement solutions.
• Provide detailed financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
• Stay updated on relevant tax regulations and accounting practices.
• Assist with audits and ensure adherence to internal controls.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a staff accounting role.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Strong understanding of general ledger, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with corporate and sales tax processes.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach.
