Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to join our client's finance team in Delray Beach, Florida. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and assisting with month-end close and reporting processes. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and a desire to grow within a dynamic organization. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed Prepare financial reports and schedules for internal management Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or variances Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Assist in improving accounting processes and internal controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 2-4 years of accounting experience (public or private) Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar ERP systems) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working in multi-entity or fast-paced environments Prior experience with financial reporting and variance analysis Exposure to audit processes and internal controls All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
