Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a meticulous Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, analysing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your responsibilities will include managing governmental and corporate accounting tasks, conducting tax preparation, handling accounts receivable, and utilizing financial software such as Sage/MAS 100 for accurate financial reporting. Duties
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure timely payments to employees.
- Handle balance sheet reconciliation and maintain financial records up to date.
- Provide specific reports and analysis as requested by management and ownership.
- Assist in the Accounts Receivable process.
- Assist in basic HR functions.
- Monthly Sales calculation and tax filing .
Skills / Requirements
- Proficiency in US GAAP.
- Strong background in corporate accounting principles.
- Experience in tax preparation and compliance.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes.
- Familiarity with Sage/MAS 100 or similar accounting software.
- Ability to conduct account analysis efficiently.
- Understanding of financial concepts and reporting standards.
- Proficient in payroll processing.
- Skill in balance sheet reconciliation techniques.
- Intermediate experience in using excel.
