• Youngquist Brothers is Florida's leader in large-diameter deep injection well drilling, with over 50 years in the field and an E-Rig platform that keeps us at the front of drilling technology.

We run 15-20 large construction projects at any given time across the state, and we need a sharp Project Accountant to own the financial side of that book of work. This is not a clerical role. You will be the person responsible for getting our billings out the door on time, every month, exactly the way each contract requires — and for keeping our certified payroll airtight on Davis-Bacon jobs.

• What you'll own:
• Monthly progress billings
• for 15-20 active projects —

AIA G702/G703

pay applications, schedules of values, retainage, stored materials, lien waivers, and sworn statements. Billings must match the contract terms exactly.

• Certified payroll
• for Davis-Bacon / prevailing wage jobs — weekly WH-347 submissions, fringe benefit reporting, proper labor classification, and full audit-ready recordkeeping.
• Project schedule maintenance
• in Primavera P6 — updating progress, logic, and look-aheads in coordination with project managers and our VP of Contracts.
• Contract financial review
• — reading each contract for billing triggers, milestones, notice provisions, and payment terms so nothing slips.
• Audit-ready files
• for every project from award through closeout.
• What we need from you:
• 5+ years of construction project accounting, ideally on heavy/civil or public-works projects Hands-on experience preparing AIA-style progress billings tied to schedules of values Working knowledge of Davis-Bacon certified payroll (WH-347, fringes, classifications) — this is non-negotiable Primavera P6 experience for schedule updates (or equivalent — willing to train the right person on P6 if everything else is there) Sage 100 Contractor or Sage 300 CRE experience strongly preferred Strong Excel; comfortable reading construction contracts •

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm, Friday 7am-4pm. Onsite at our Fort Myers headquarters.
• Compensation & benefits:
• $65,000-$72,500 annually, based on experience.
