Accountant & Bookkeeper Royal Financial Tax and Financial Services Carrollwood, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $24 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications Google Sheets ADP Attention to detail GAAP QuickBooks Organizational skills Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a qualified accountant/bookkeeper to manage day‑to‑day financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support leadership with timely reporting. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Daily bookkeeping — record transactions, maintain general ledger Accounts payable — vendor bills, payments, expense tracking Accounts receivable — invoicing, customer payments, aging reports Bank & credit card reconciliation (monthly) Payroll processing (in‑house or via provider) Sales tax filings and compliance Monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Budget tracking and cash‑flow monitoring Work with owner/manager to improve financial workflows Support year‑end close and coordinate with external CPA Required Qualifications 2-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP Proficiency with QuickBooks , Xero , or similar Strong Excel/Sheets skills Excellent accuracy, organization, and communication Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a small business environment Familiarity with inventory , job costing , or project‑based accounting Experience with tools like Bill.com , Dext , Gusto , or ADP Ability to recommend and implement process improvements
