Opportunity:

A national healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This position offers exposure to multi-entity accounting, complex reconciliations, and full-cycle financial reporting in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. The role is ideal for professionals with prior healthcare or retail accounting experience who are ready to take on ownership of key financial processes and work cross-functionally with operations and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts with supporting documentation. Maintain and reconcile fixed assets, prepaid, insurance, and intangible schedules. Process and review invoices for payment in accordance with company policy. Support revenue recognition, operating expenses, and capital expenditure entries. Perform month-end close activities, journal entries, and variance analysis. Prepare and review ad hoc and recurring financial reports for management and operations. Ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies. Assist with audits by providing requested documentation to external auditors. Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies regarding taxes. Support continuous process improvement and system efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4-6+ years of corporate accounting or 3-5+ years of public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred) Proficiency with GAAP, accrual accounting, and general ledger reconciliation Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management Experience in healthcare or retail accounting environments

Preferred:

CPA or CPA eligibility Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or similar ERP Multi-site or multi-entity accounting experience
