•$100,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM
•5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle project accounting process from project initiation through final project closeout. Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, purchase orders, change orders, budgets, commitments, invoices, and other supporting documentation. Review, code, and record project-related invoices, expenses, labor, subcontractor costs, materials, and other project expenditures. Monitor project costs by category and compare actual costs to approved budgets and forecasts. Partner closely with Program and Project Managers to monitor the financial performance of assigned projects. Prepare and analyze project financial reports, including actual costs, budget-to-actual results, projected costs, gross margins, and profitability. Investigate significant project variances and work with Program/Project Managers to understand and document the underlying causes. Review customer contracts, purchase orders, billing schedules, and change orders for accounting and billing implications. Assist the Controller and Chief Financial Officer with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Prepare project-related accruals, reconciliations, and adjusting entries as necessary. Assist with project revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion calculations, as applicable, in accordance with ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers.
