Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping financial operations running smoothly? We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with hands-on QuickBooks experience, who is looking to make a meaningful impact while working with a collaborative and supportive team. What You'll Do As our Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records across the organization.
Responsibilities include:
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing in QuickBooks Preparing journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and performing account reconciliations Processing weekly check runs and ACH payments Maintaining vendor files and relationships while responding to accounts payable inquiries Assisting with month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting Monitoring and reconciling intercompany transactions Supporting budgeting and forecasting initiatives Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and leverage automation Collaborating with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and support organizational goals What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience 2-3 years hands-on experience with QuickBooks Experience with Yardi software (preferred) Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience working in a multi-entity or multi-location environment Positive attitude with a strong team-oriented mindset Why Join Us?
