Employment Type:
Temporary / Full-Time Hours About the Role PrideStaff is searching on behalf of our client, a prominent law firm in Palm Beach County, for 2-3 detail-oriented, high-accuracy Temporary Legal Trust Accounting Associates to join their team in Jupiter, FL for an immediate project. In this role, you will handle matter-level trust accounting, perform ledger reconciliations, process client disbursements, and maintain strict adherence to Florida Bar Rule 5-1.1 (IOLTA) and multi-state compliance regulations.
Key Responsibilities Trust Disbursement Reconciliation:
Validate Filevine ledger entries against settlement statements and closing documents prior to client disbursement.
Coding & Verification:
Accurately code transactions into NetSuite (ERP) and inspect check images for compliance before processing bank deposits.
Transfers & Reconciliations:
Initiate outgoing ACH and wire transfers; execute matter-level trust reconciliations across Florida and multi-state jurisdictions.
Audit Prep & Discrepancies:
Research and resolve ledger discrepancies within defined SLAs; prepare audit workpapers and monthly reconciliation schedules.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
3+ years in legal accounting, trust accounting, escrow processing, or law firm finance.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Solid working knowledge of Florida Bar IOLTA guidelines and trust compliance rules.
Technical Skills:
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs required).
Software:
Prior experience with Filevine (Case Management) or NetSuite (ERP) is strongly preferred.
Attributes:
High attention to detail, strong analytical capability, and ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced legal environment.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $32.00 - $40.00 Per Hour
