CDDV. 10.
Reviews and approves pre-travel requests and post-travel reconciliations. 11. Assists the Administrative Dean, Financial and IT Operations with financial analysis and completion of various reporting requirements as needed. 12. Works with various external auditors. Prepares worksheets and responses as requested by auditors. 13. Member of the QEP Advisory Committee. 14. Key member of monthly and annual accounting close process. Prepares monthly operational journal entries including indirect cost and revenue for grants, financial aid, andFKEF. 15.
Assists in all College recruitment & retention efforts as appropriate. 16. Required to attend Graduation/Commencement ceremonies. 17. Additional duties as assigned. Employees will be required to perform other job-related marginal duties as required.)Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of government accounting, auditing, and expenditure control.
- Knowledge of accounting systems and procedures.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and procedures in the receipt, custody, and expenditure of monies.
- Ability to plan, organize and supervise the work of professional and paraprofessional accounting personnel.
- Ability to prepare financial and statistical reports.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and the public.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Skill with a PC and software, especially in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Education and Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited two-year college or university with an Associate's Degree in a related field, required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three (3) years of accounting experience or bookkeeping experience.
Licenses, Certifications or Registrations:
None Physical Skills:
- Ability to sit at a desk and view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
Environmental Conditions:
- Works inside an office environment.
