Accountant

Description We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a growing, multi-entity organization. This role will support accounting operations across a portfolio of related entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting principles. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong foundation in core accounting concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records across multiple entities
• Prepare and post journal entries, with a clear understanding of financial statement impact
• Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Record and track intercompany transactions, ensuring proper documentation and treatment
• Assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes as needed
• Monitor general ledger activity and ensure appropriate classification of transactions
• Partner with internal stakeholders to improve processes and maintain consistency in accounting practices This is a permanent position. If you are interested, please reach out directly to Zoe Slater. Requirements
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and the flow of financial statements.
• Familiarity with intercompany accounting practices is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to perform month-end close processes, including general ledger updates and reconciliations.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct journal entries and bank account reconciliations effectively.
