This position offers exceptional visibility to executive leadership and hands-on experience across financial reporting, operational accounting, FP&A, manufacturing accounting, and strategic growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & General Accounting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules Maintain and reconcile the general ledger Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes Perform bank reconciliations and assist with treasury-related activities Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations Prepare debt schedules and intercompany reconciliations Analyze financial results and assist with variance reporting Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting Account for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory Reconcile physical inventory counts to accounting records Analyze manufacturing costs and operational cost drivers Support inventory reporting and operational finance initiatives Accounts Receivable & Billing Manage customer invoicing and billing accuracy Monitor accounts receivable balances and assist with collections Resolve billing discrepancies in partnership with internal teams Calculate and reconcile sales commissions Strategic Finance & Analysis Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling Analyze business performance and provide financial insights Support acquisition-related accounting and integration activities Participate in projects focused on growth, profitability, and operational improvements Audit & Compliance Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation Work with external auditors during annual audits Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment Preferred CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification Public accounting experience (Big 4 experience highly valued) Manufacturing or inventory accounting experience ERP system experience (Syspro experience a plus) Experience with Access, SQL, or VBA Exposure to mergers, acquisitions, or integration activities
