About this role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant . This position is responsible for managing, analyzing, and executing accounting processes for assigned accounts while ensuring compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and established procedures. The role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of financial information and supporting efficient financial reporting and closing processes.
Main Responsibilities:
Record, review, analyze, and validate accounting transactions within the company's financial systems, ensuring proper account classification and compliance with accounting policies. Prepare and analyze bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and income statement accounts, investigating discrepancies and posting corrective entries when necessary. Develop, standardize, and optimize accounting processes through automation initiatives, data management improvements, and financial reporting enhancements to drive operational efficiency. Prepare accounting and financial reports by collecting, validating, and analyzing information from multiple data sources. Maintain and verify supporting documentation for accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory, audit, and document retention requirements. Perform account analysis to identify unusual transactions, required adjustments, and reclassifications. Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries. Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities. Consolidate financial information from multiple systems and support the preparation of financial, operational, and regulatory reports. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support compliance, reporting, and audit requests.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience in general accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial analysis. Understanding of financial and tax regulations. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
