full-time Client Overview Our client is a well-established organization seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join their growing Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience and continue developing their accounting skills. Salary/Hourly Rate $60k - $70k plus Discretionary bonus Position Overview The Junior Accountant will support the Accounting team with day-to-day accounting functions, reconciliations, accounts payable, and general financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 2 years of accounting-related experience and a strong analytical mindset. Responsibilities Of The Junior Accountant Assist with accounts payable, invoice processing, and general accounting activities. Prepare bank and account reconciliations and research discrepancies. Assist with journal entries and maintaining accurate General Ledger records. Support month-end close and financial reporting activities. Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation. Assist the accounting team with additional projects and day-to-day financial tasks as needed. Required Experience/Skills For The Junior Accountant 6 months to 2 years of accounting or finance-related experience; relevant internship experience will be considered. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work through numerical problems using a clear and logical thought process. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new accounting systems. Strong organizational and communication skills. Must be able to work fully onsite in Coconut Grove. Preferred Experience/Skills For The Junior Accountant Previous exposure to accounts payable, reconciliations, bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, or other general accounting functions. Previous accounting or finance internship experience. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business from a U.S. university is required.
