What You'll Do As our Senior Accountant, you will oversee the full accounting cycle while partnering closely with leadership to strengthen financial processes and prepare for a management role.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and supporting schedules. Analyze financial results and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and financial planning. Support external audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements. Develop, document, and improve accounting policies and internal controls. Partner with leadership on strategic financial initiatives and operational improvements. Mentor junior accounting staff and help build a high-performing accounting team. Take on increasing leadership responsibilities as you transition into an Accounting Manager role. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting. Experience leading month-end close and financial reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP/accounting software (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar). Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
