This position plays a key role in both accounting and payroll administration and requires hands-on experience using UKG Ready for end-to-end payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, attention to detail, and experience supporting payroll and financial activities within a manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, or similar operational environment.
Responsibilities:
Process and manage weekly, bi-weekly, or periodic payroll activities using UKG Ready Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity Maintain accounts receivable records, aging reports, and customer account files Monitor customer payments and assist with resolving billing discrepancies Process cash receipts, cash applications, and related accounting transactions Maintain daily bank activity records and support cash management functions Prepare monthly customer statements and accounting reports Assist with inventory cycle count audits and financial reconciliations Support month-end close activities and accounting documentation Provide accounting support to management and leadership teams Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Qualifications:
2+ years of accounting experience with a degree or 5+ years of accounting experience without a degree Hands-on payroll processing experience using UKG Ready (Required) Experience managing payroll for approximately 50-100 employees Experience with General Ledger reconciliations, Journal entries, Cash applications, Bank reconciliations, and A/R functions Strong Microsoft Excel skills Aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, or supply-chain industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
