Job Summary We are seeking a Cost Accountant - Manufacturing for a direct hire opportunity with a long-established, veteran-owned manufacturing organization in Orlando, FL. The Cost Accountant - Manufacturing will support cost analysis, inventory control, ERP data integrity, and financial reporting across multiple manufacturing entities. This role is fully onsite and offers a steady 40-hour work week with no expectation of extended or excessive month-end hours. Key Responsibilities Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, overhead, work-in-process, finished goods, scrap, shrink, and obsolescence. Prepare cost reports, margin analysis, variance reporting, and production cost insights to support business decisions. Support inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and inventory control processes. Partner with engineering and production teams on bill of materials updates, cost improvements, and operational analysis. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX planning, monthly close, journal entries, and audit preparation. Maintain and reconcile inventory general ledger accounts while supporting ERP data accuracy and integrity. Compensation and Benefits Direct hire opportunity.
Salary range:
$85,000 to $10,000 per year. Fully onsite role in Orlando, FL. Consistent 40-hour work week. No expectation of extended or excessive month-end hours.
