We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Office Accountant to support our financial operations and help keep projects and office functions running smoothly. Position Summary The Office Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting functions while supporting project operations and office administration. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Process vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and client billing Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements Maintain accurate financial records and job cost tracking Assist with monthly financial reporting and budgeting Support payroll processing and employee expense reporting Coordinate with project managers regarding purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation Maintain vendor files, W-9s, insurance certificates, and lien waivers Assist with contract administration and compliance documentation Utilize Procore for project financial tracking, documentation management, and coordination with project teams Support office operations and administrative tasks as needed Work closely with leadership on financial tracking and reporting Qualifications 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Experience in construction accounting preferred Hospitality construction experience is a plus Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and/or construction accounting software Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Knowledge and hands-on experience with Procore required Understanding of job costing, AP/AR, subcontractor invoicing, and financial reconciliation Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines High level of accuracy and attention to detail Preferred Skills Experience with procurement coordination Familiarity with AIA billing and construction documentation Knowledge of payroll and HR support functions Ability to work independently and collaboratively Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Paid time off and holidays Opportunity for growth within the company Supportive and team-oriented work environment
