Staff Accountant Compensation:

Orlando, FL About the Opportunity This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization operating across both construction and manufacturing sectors. The Staff Accountant will step into a newly created, hands-on role driven by company growth and increasing operational needs. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of accounting functions, including inventory management and job costing, while working closely with leadership and operational teams in a dynamic environment. Why This Role Stands Out Newly created position driven by business expansion Unique exposure to both construction and manufacturing accounting Opportunity to build expertise in inventory and job costing High level of interaction with leadership and operational teams Broad, hands-on role with real impact across the business Core Responsibilities Support full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and month-end close Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy Assist with job costing and project-based accounting activities Support inventory processes, including tracking, reconciliation, and periodic counts Partner with operations and administrative teams to ensure accurate financial data flow Identify process gaps and contribute to improvements across accounting workflows Assist with financial reporting, audits, and ad hoc analysis Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 3–5+ years of accounting experience Strong foundation in GAAP, reconciliations, and month-end close processes Exposure to construction, manufacturing, or inventory accounting preferred Experience with job costing or project-based accounting is a plus Hands-on, adaptable approach with willingness to engage in operational environments Work Environment Onsite role with occasional visits to operational or plant locations Fast-paced, hands-on environment with evolving processes Collaborative team structure with strong leadership visibility Ideal Candidate Profile This role is ideal for a motivated accounting professional who wants to expand beyond traditional responsibilities and gain operational exposure.
