NetSuite ERP/Workday CPA Position Overview:

We are seeking a Sr. Accountant with experience in a professional services environment who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is eager to contribute to a collaborative leadership team. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and revenue recognition Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP Document and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning Coordinate and file monthly sales tax filings (experience with Avalara preferred) Liaise with external factoring companies, auditors, and tax advisors Support implementation and enhancements of accounting systems and process improvements Act as a business partner to senior leadership and department heads, providing financial insights and recommendations

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred

Experience:

5+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior experience in a professional services firm preferred Some Avalara experience preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements Hands-on experience with accounting systems Must be willing to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable State, County, and Municipal requirements Skills & Attributes Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment
