What You'll Do:

Review and analysis of financial statements and key metrics for assigned areas Prepare general ledger entries and balance sheet reconciliation in compliance with policies and procedures Support the design and implementation of new accounting processes and routines to enable emerging business operations and ensure scalable growth Provide guidance to cross-functional stakeholders Provide mentorship and task management for junior Chewtopians Identify and implement process improvements as continuous improvement Liaise with external auditors and provide documentation as necessary Help design and implement internal controls over accounting processes

What You'll Need:

BA/BS degree in Accounting CPA or path to CPA preferred 3+ years of related experience Strong technical accounting and financial analytical skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Advanced proficiency in Excel Experience working with GL software, SQL, or Tableau is a big plus Experience in establishing new accounting processes preferred Position may require travel Chewy is an equal opportunity employer.
