Full Job Description Experience:
Senior Level Salary:
$75,000•$95,000 per year Job Details•We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Permanent Accountant to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This exciting role offers the opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for managing a broad range of accounting functions. This includes but is not limited to journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations, AP, and AR. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform month-end close procedures, including the preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. 2. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial data to support decision-making. 3. Process and manage accounts payable, including invoice and payments processing 4. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures, making recommendations for improvements as needed. 5. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audit requests, and aid in the research and analysis of audit issues raised. 6. Stay updated with industry trends and current accounting standards to ensure company practices are in line with regulatory requirements and best practices. 7. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role 3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with other accounting software. 4. Solid understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles. 5. Experience with account reconciliations and accounts payable 6. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. 7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. 8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines. 9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. 10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
