Staff Accountant

Suplee, Shea, Cramer, and Miller, P.A. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in tax accounting, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations. Responsibilities Prepare federal, state and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations Conduct tax research and planning Ensure compliance with local, state and federal tax regulations and laws Assist with tax returns Advise clients on tax-related issues Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field Minimum 2-3 years of experience in tax accounting CPA certification is preferred Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for business entities Familiarity with accounting and business software, such as QuickBooks and MS Office Excellent analytical and time management skills Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
