Annual salary:
$56,181 ________________________________________ Kendall Pools and Construction LLC., a swimming pool contractor, is seeking a Staff Accountant for its office located in Sarasota (Manatee County), FL.
Job Duties:
1. Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records, using journals, ledgers, and accounting software. 2. Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial information. 3. Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software. 4. Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. 5. Code documents according to company procedures. 6. Access computerized financial information to answer general inquiries and questions related to specific accounts. 7. Perform financial calculations, such as amounts due, interest charges, balances, discounts, equity, and principal. 8. Reconcile accounts or note and report discrepancies found in financial records. 9. Match order forms with invoices and record the necessary information. 10. Receive, record, and deposit cash, checks, and vouchers. 11. Prepare and process payroll information in accordance with company policies and regulations. 12. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. 13. Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence.
Job Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
24 months of full-time experience in an accounting position, such as Staff Accountant or related. Instructions for
