We're looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager who understands how accounting directly impacts project performance, profitability, and operations. This is a high-visibility role working closely with ownership and project managers in a fast-paced commercial glass and glazing environment.

Competitive, based on experience What You'll Do Oversee daily accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll coordination, and general ledger Manage job costing for fabrication and installation projects Handle AIA billing, progress billing, retainage, and lien waivers Track budgets, change orders, and cost-to-complete with project managers Prepare WIP schedules, job margin reports, and monthly financials Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts Manage vendor payments and subcontractor pay applications Monitor cash flow and collections Support year-end close, audits, and tax preparation Maintain organized financial records and job documentation What You Bring 3+ years of construction accounting experience Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP, percentage-of-completion, and retainage Experience with QuickBooks (required) Familiarity with Procore or similar construction/project management software Strong Excel skills and experience with job cost reporting Highly detail-oriented and organized Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to work with operations teams Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience in glass & glazing or specialty subcontracting Experience with fabrication/shop environments and labor tracking Background in a small to mid-sized contractor What We Offer Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off + holidays Company cell phone Stable pipeline of work Direct exposure to ownership and leadership Long-term growth opportunity Why This Role Stands Out This isn't a back-office accounting role.
