Our fast-growing and well-established company is seeking a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Tampa, FL. Our team thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, where innovation and growth are encouraged. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing essential support for our financial operations. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledgers. Strong in practical accounting. Good understanding of GAAP and IFRS. Prepare ASC 843, prepaid, and accrual account schedule. Handle corporate credit card transactions between the 3rd party software and ERP, and monthly credit card reconciliation. Conduct Pre-audit tasks across organizations in preparing consolidated financial statements. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial forecasting & budgeting support. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payment. Manage the company's general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies. Prepare and assist in the analysis of financial reports, including budget variance analysis. Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Assist with audits, both internal and external, and provide necessary documentation. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of five years' experience in public accounting or corporate finance with a focus on financial accounting and reporting. Proven expertise in SOX compliance, GAAP standards, and technical accounting practices. Strong working knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Business Central, or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial reports and conduct detailed financial analysis including cash flow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliation. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish; ability to mentor team members effectively.
