We are currently seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Senior Tax Associate to join our growing firm. BHV is a well-established firm (30+ years of service) and has offices in South Tampa and Plant City. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. Duties Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws. Conduct thorough account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial statements. Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for tax savings. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization. Assist in the preparation of financial statements. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing guidance, and building strong client relationships Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred. Proven experience in tax accounting or a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in QuickBooks and financial accounting principles. Strong knowledge of debits and credits, account reconciliation processes, and financial planning strategies. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
