Sr. Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Tampa, Florida. This role is ideal for someone with a keen attention to detail and a strong background in financial accounting and reporting. The position focuses on ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes, including month-end close activities and lease accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee general ledger activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Handle lease accounting tasks, including managing multiple leases and identifying key details.
• Perform inventory accounting processes and ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review accruals to support financial statements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on accounting procedures and practices.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in financial reporting.
