Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Professional for a fast growing CPA firm. The ideal candidate will have an Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or a CPA license or Enrolled Agent credential (EA).
Qualifications:
Strong Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent problem-solving and analytical initiative Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office especially Excel Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Bookkeeping:
Reconcile bank and credit card statements Manage general ledger activity and journal entries Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports Process payroll and sales tax filings Maintain and update clients accounts through QuickBooks programs Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Tax Preparation:
Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation Organize and analyze client financial data for accurate tax filings Prepare and assist in reviewing of Individual, Corporate and partnership tax returns Research basic tax issues and stay up to date with tax law changes

Full-time Pay:
$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Application Question(s): Available to work extended hours during month-end or tax- deadline periods
