The Finance team is looking for a qualified candidate to play a pivotal role in driving our accounting initiatives: What you will do… Support accounting operations, including financial reporting Oversee the accounts payable function Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold effective internal controls over financial reporting and accounting procedures Maintain and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP for the Firm and its subsidiaries which includes the firm foundation Maintain general ledger, journal entries, accruals, reserves, and account reconciliations Prepare business activity reports and other financial reports Contribute to the development and execution of the annual budgeting process Audit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Support the administration of retirement plans and facilitates the annual audit process Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures Identify and recommend updates to accounting processes and procedures Support the closing process Prepare and maintain the Cash Forecast Participate in or manage special projects to support evolving business needs What you bring…Required:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or other related studiesRequired:
4+ years of experience - with a background in general accounting CPA Preferred or at least 1-2 sections of the exam already passed. Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis Background in cash reconciliation and daily reporting Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise teams Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced work environment Practice Engine/IRIS software experience is preferred but not required Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointSimilar jobs in Atlanta, GA
