Back To Results Senior Accountant Job Description Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and vendor records Partner with HR to support payroll processing and related reporting Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership and external stakeholders Lead the month-end and year-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and support the development of strong internal controls Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy Collaborate with accounting teams across multiple locations to ensure consistent financial reporting Support the integration of newly acquired entities and help standardize accounting processes Assist with budgeting and forecasting efforts, providing insights to support business decisions Contribute to recurring financial reporting packages and analysis for stakeholders
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA is a plus Public accounting experience preferred, along with Exposure to fast-paced or multi-entity environments Experience in private equity-backed or acquisition-driven organizations is highly desirable Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (Sage Intacct is a plus) Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams For immediate consideration, please send resume to kathy@stafffinancial.com Share This Position Details Location Cumming GA Date Posted 5/27/2026 Apply Processing...
