Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Client Accounting & Advisory Services team. This internship offers hands-on experience in providing accounting and financial services to a diverse client base. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable insights into the operations of a financial services firm.
Responsibilities:
Assist in performing day-to-day bookkeeping activities for clients using accounting software. Assist in the preparation of 1099s, property tax returns, and payroll returns. Prepare and reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports. Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to clients. Participate in client meetings and conference calls as needed.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in accounting. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Experience in Quickbooks, Sage, Bill.com and Excel is a plus. Why Nichols Cauley?
