Fully paid benefits package We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant with strong Excel skills to support accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys analyzing financial data, taking ownership of reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities. Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts, researching and resolving discrepancies. Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules. Use Excel to organize financial data, perform reconciliations, and analyze account activity. Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. Analyze financial results and explain variances. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed. Prepare documentation for audits and other financial reviews. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and accuracy. Assist with additional accounting projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. Relevant accounting experience, including general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close. Strong Microsoft Excel skills , including pivot tables, lookup functions, and formulas used for financial analysis. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Familiarity with accounting software. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach. Compensation and Benefits Base salary of $70,000-$85,000 , depending on experience and qualifications. Fully paid benefits package.
