Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to join a growing team in Rossville, Indiana. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial information, supporting reporting activities, and contributing to a smooth monthly close. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting experience, sound analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with both internal partners and external contacts.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and contribute to timely completion of the month-end close cycle.
  • Maintain well-organized financial records and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Assist with financial reporting activities and provide analysis to help inform business decisions.
  • Partner with auditors and support tax-related documentation and filing requirements as needed.
  • Review and analyze accounting data across areas such as job costing, fixed assets, inventory, and payroll.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to address accounting questions and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Provide backup support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions when business needs require.
  • Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations to help ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
