Job Summary We are seeking 3 experienced automotive accounting professional to join our dynamic accounting team. Duties Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions using software such as Reynolds and Reynolds, Dlrdmv and DSN Perform detailed general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation Conduct account analysis and review financial data for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and industry standards Prepare financial reports, including budgets, variance analysis, and financial statements using Excel data analysis tools and spreadsheets Handle confidential information with integrity while managing customer service inquiries related to billing or account status Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts and preparing audit documentation in accordance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions Qualifications Proven experience in automotive accounting with a strong understanding of accounting concepts such as debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and journal entries Proficiency in multiple accounting software platforms including Reynolds and Reynolds, Worldpay, Dlrdmv, DSN or similar systems Knowledge of automotive accounting standards and practices is highly desirable Strong technical accounting skills with experience in SOX compliance and financial software such as Microsoft Office (Excel spreadsheets) Excellent numeracy skills combined with attention to detail for data entry and account analysis Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining high levels of accuracy in account reconciliation and bookkeeping tasks Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and support customer service initiatives related to financial inquiries Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, balance sheet management, budgeting, credit analysis, and general ledger management Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in automotive accounting!
