Job Description

Senior Accountant Primary Function:
Assist with a variety of accounting activities including financial reporting, GL maintenance, A/P, A/R, and internal auditing. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting procedures and accounting control procedures to enhance performance and maintain integrity. Maintain accurate records of all company financial transactions. Prepare month-end closing. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports. Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Post journal entries and ensure general ledger accounts reconciliations are completed accurately and on time. Prepare annual report(s), internal audit, forecasting and budgeting. HIgh level support of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions. Support internal and external relationships with employees, vendors, subcontractors, customers, banking institutions and other leaders in the financial community. Perform additional assignments and projects as needed.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
Four-year business/accounting degree. 3+ years relevant accounting experience Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports. Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Willingness and ability to multi-task and work a flexible schedule as needed. #
