Job Description
The firm provides a wide range of services to individuals and businesses, including tax preparation and planning, accounting, bookkeeping, financial statement preparation and business advisory services.
Key Responsibilities or Tax Accountant:
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, S corporations, partnerships, trusts, and other entities.Provide tax planning and advisory services to both individual and business clients.
Conduct tax research, analyze findings, and communicate recommendations clearly to clients.
Develop and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
Prepare financial statements and other financial information for business clients.
Assist with financial projections and business planning support.
Provide guidance to clients on accounting and QuickBooks-related matters.
Represent clients before federal and state taxing authorities as needed.
Review work prepared by junior staff and provide constructive feedback.
Mentor and support the development of less-experienced team members.
Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines, especially during tax season.
Identify opportunities to expand services and add value to client relationships.
Contribute to the continued growth and development of the firm.
