Duration:
12-Month Contract (Potential Extension) About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Supplier Enablement & Ariba Operations Specialist to support supplier onboarding, supplier maintenance, and procurement system initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex supplier setup and maintenance requests, supporting Ariba and PeopleSoft-related projects, and ensuring accurate supplier data management across procurement systems. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works independently with minimal supervision, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and process improvements. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end supplier onboarding, setup, and maintenance activities within Ariba and related systems. Create new supplier records and process modifications to existing supplier profiles. Review, analyze, and resolve supplier-related requests, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures. Serve as a subject matter resource for supplier enablement processes and provide guidance to internal stakeholders, peers, managers, and external suppliers. Troubleshoot and resolve complex supplier and system-related issues, including escalations from business partners and suppliers. Independently prioritize and manage multiple requests while meeting service-level expectations. Identify process risks, recommend improvements, and document procedures, training materials, and operational best practices. Support system cleanup and data integrity initiatives, including supplier record maintenance and deactivation of inactive supplier locations. Partner closely with Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Contracts, Accounts Payable, Business Groups, Ariba support teams, and suppliers to ensure successful onboarding and transaction readiness. Participate in operational accounting and supplier management initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement efforts and operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 2+ years of experience in Operational Accounting, Supplier Management, Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, Vendor Maintenance, or a related field. Experience supporting enterprise procurement platforms such as Ariba, PeopleSoft, SAP, or similar systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a deadline-driven environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Preferred Qualifications Experience with supplier onboarding, supplier master data management, or procurement operations. Knowledge of procurement-to-pay (P2P) processes. Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing operational efficiencies. Ability to develop training materials, process documentation, and standard operating procedures. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
