Job Description
Work Location:
12650 W Bridger Street, Suite 100, Boise, ID 83713Schedule:
This is a full-time position at 40 hours weekly with benefits. Schedule requirements are Monday through Friday, within normal business hours.Responsibilities:
Assist with recording cash receipts, deposits, and revenue transactions.Reconcile deposits and payment activity to bank and accounting records.
Prepare routine journal entries under the direction of senior accounting staff.
Perform assigned bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
Assist the accounting team with monthly closing activities.
Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
Respond professionally and timely to accounting questions from staff and other stakeholders.
Communicate with supervisor, staff, members, guests, and volunteers in a clear, concise and positive manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, or within one year of graduation, in Accounting (preferred), Finance, Business, or related field.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Understanding of accounting principles.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial information.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other standard office applications.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
